Wondering about something? Check out our frequently asked questions. [ FAQs ]

opening times

We are open everyday. We will be open all week during the October half term. Weekends only in November and the park is closed during December and January.

  • Gates open 09:30am and close at 6pm.
  • Please note that last admission is 3pm.

dog owners

Dog owners are more than welcome to bring along their canine friend(s), however, we do require dogs to be kept on a lead and under supervision at all times. And bring your poo bags! It’s not fair to the kids otherwise. Or the parents cleaning the shoes.

disabled visitors

We do provide an ‘easy’ route around the Crocky Trail, though this can still get muddy. Whilst this route is fine for people with pushchairs to use, we recommend that it is best suited only to more rugged or off-road style wheelchairs, particular when it’s muddy as the route is not flat, nor is it fully paved. There are plenty of places to sit and spectate. There is easy access around many of the attractions at the start of the trail, some of which are wheelchair accessible, however the vast majority of our attractions and the trail require full mobility to use.

Please bring appropriate documentation with you (e.g. DWP letter where possible).

last entry time

Please note that we do not admit guests to the Crocky Trail after 3pm in winter.
