One of our Crocky Trail ambassadors decided to have a look at some Easter Craft ideas to help keep the kids busy during the upcoming Easter holidays. Our ambassador wanted to share with you how her and her son got on making Toilet Roll Easter Bunnies.
What we used:
- Toilet rolls
- Paints – including a white paint
- Black marker pen
- Googly eyes
- Glue or double-sided sticky tape
- Cotton wool or furry balls for the rabbits tails
How we did it:
Firstly we had to use one toilet roll and cut it into strips so we had two ears for each bunny.
We then painted three toilet rolls and six strips, we decided to do a yellow, red and blue bunny. We had to do two coats and then let them dry.
We used this time to tidy the paint away and wash our hands as we got extremely messy! But don’t drop the paint tray like us! OOOOPPPS!!
Then using double sided sticky tape we stuck two ears together and attached them to the painted toilet rolls. We did this for all three.
Then we also stuck a pair of googly eyes on to each bunny too.
Next was time to draw the faces on. We decided to stick to just normal but I bet there are lots of different funny faces to make.
We used a black marker pen and then white paint for the teeth.
The last thing the bunnies needed was a tail. Using double-sided tape we gave each bunny a tail using some coloured furry balls we had. And these toilet roll bunnies are all done.
